Conversations in Experience: Reflections on the Hispanic and Latinx Experience in the United States

About This Event

According to a recent U.S. Census Bureau report, the Hispanic and Latinx population has grown by 23%, which makes the Hispanic and Latinx population the largest and fastest growing ethnic group in the country with a population of over 62.1 million in 2020.

While the Hispanic and Latinx community has made many impactful contributions to U.S. society and culture, many experience discrimination daily. Four out of ten Hispanic and Latinx individuals report experiencing criticism for speaking Spanish publicly and have been victims of xenophobic rhetoric.

The fight against these inequalities still persist today.

We invite you to join people3’s panel discussion centered on Hispanic and Latinx experiences and the lens through which they experience social, personal, and work spaces.
