Conversations in Black:
Reflections on the Black Experience in America

About This Event

This past year has been both difficult and beautiful in a myriad of ways. In the midst of a global pandemic, the world had an uninterrupted view into the lives and fears that Black people face daily. We watched the deaths of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor spark nationwide movements in demand for racial justice. The world began to acknowledge the continued devaluing and dehumanization of Black Americans across the country. In the midst of this trauma, we saw communities unite to better understand racism in America. Individuals, communities, and organizations acknowledged systemic issues and asked, “what can we do?”

We invite you to watch the previously recorded virtual event below, “Conversations in Black: Reflections on the Black Experience in America” where we discussed these social changes and the impact on the personal and professional lives of Black Americans.
