Conversations on Religious Diversity in the Workplace

About This Event

As we approach this special season for so many and engage with our colleagues, it’s more important than ever to be cognizant of the different holidays, practices, and religious celebrations that occur year-round, both globally and nationally.

Approximately 84% of the world’s population identifies with some religious affiliation. While over 63% of Americans identify as Christian, only 30% of the rest of the world’s population practices Christianity. Thirty percent of the U.S. population does not identify with any religion at all.

Our panelists shared how we can be more mindful of religious and cultural practices in our day-to-day workplace experiences. We also explored some of the many religious and cultural holidays honored globally, how they are observed, as well as how to navigate conversations about religion to create culturally inclusive workplaces.
